Welcome Letter

Dear 4th Graders and Parents,

I hope you are enjoying your summer vacation. This summer is really flying by for me. As we approach the first day of school, I grow more excited for the year ahead, which will be filled with fun activities, projects, field trips, and more. I hope that you too are anticipating fourth grade with excitement and enthusiasm. We will explore new topics and challenge ourselves to achieve beyond our expectations.

Parents, in the attached documents you will find an Earthquake/Disaster form, an earthquake kit information letter, a supply list, and a parent questionnaire. If you have already filled out an updated 2016-17 Earthquake/Disaster form through the office, there is no need to complete another.

The parent questionnaire is a fillable form for you to complete regarding your student. Please complete it at your earliest convenience and return it to me. You may return it by email, or, if it’s easier, you may print it out and complete it by hand.

Students, I ask that you bring the items on the supply list on the first day of school, Wednesday, August 24. We can then dive right in!

Enjoy the remainder of your summer vacation. I know this will be a terrific year, and I am looking forward to spending it with you.

See you soon!

Mrs. Swartz
