Welcome Letter

June 29, 2018

Dear 4th Graders and Parents,

I hope you are enjoying your summer vacation so far. This summer will be really exciting for me. My son is getting married, and I am going on a cruise. I wanted to welcome you and provide you with the information you need before I leave town. The year ahead will be filled with fun activities, projects, field trips, and more. I am excited to begin our 4th grade year together, and I hope that you too are anticipating fourth grade with excitement and enthusiasm. We will explore new topics and challenge ourselves to achieve beyond our expectations.

Parents, in the attached documents you will find an Earthquake/Disaster form, an earthquake kit information letter, a supply list, and a parent questionnaire. If you have already filled out an updated 2018-19 Earthquake/Disaster form through the office, there is no need to complete another.

The parent questionnaire is a fillable form for you to complete regarding your student. Please complete it and return it to me. You may return it by email, or, if it’s easier, you may print it out and complete it by hand, returning it on the first day of school.

Students, I ask that you bring the items on the supply list on the first day of school, Wednesday, August 22. We can then dive right in!

Enjoy your summer vacation. I know this will be a terrific year, and I am looking forward to spending it with you.

See you soon!
